DAWN DEBOER has more than 30 years of family law experience. She truly enjoys helping people and guiding them through some of life’s toughest times. Ms. DeBoer fights for her clients with compassion and tenacity, and makes herself readily accessible to clients with prompt responsiveness. She strives to obtain optimal results for her clients without litigation but will fiercely represent their rights in court if needed, using her skills as a seasoned litigator and advocate.
Ms. DeBoer has been named among Virginia Business’ Legal Elite for more than 10 years and is proud to have been recognized as an outstanding attorney by SuperLawyers. She was appointed as a Commissioner in Chancery to assist local courts in overseeing certain matters, including divorce trials. She has presented numerous seminars to bar associations, paralegal associations, Certified Public Accountants and other professional groups. She is a member of the Domestic Relations Section of the Virginia State Bar and is the current Treasurer of the Metropolitan Richmond Family Law Bar Association. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society from 1994 to 2012.

DAWN SOUTH has been practicing law since 2009 and has concentrated her practice solely in the area of family law. She is a tenacious litigator who uses thorough preparation, her trial advocacy skills and experience to represent the needs of her clients. She prefers to work for and help individuals and families as opposed to businesses and corporations, which is why she was drawn to the practice of family law. Ms. South is known for responsiveness to her clients and being a tough litigator. She finds satisfaction in helping people take back control of their lives in tough situations. Consideration and preparation are at the forefront of her work. She has previously worked with Bremner, Janus & Stone; Martin, Ingles & Hensley; and Deanna D. Cook, P.C. She is proud to volunteer with Comfort Zone Camp.
Ms. South was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2009 (member, Domestic Relations Section). She is also a member of the City of Richmond Bar Association and the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association. She has served on the Domestic Relations Section of the Richmond Bench Bar Conference and is the 2019 Co-chair of the Richmond Bench Bar Conference.

SARAH ZACHARIAS joined the practice in 2020 upon completion of a clerkship for the Honorable F.G. Rockwell, III of the Chesterfield Circuit Court. She has previous experience representing clients in family law matters through her involvement with the Jeanette Lipman Family Law Clinic during law school and is thrilled to return to litigating important and personal matters for members of her community.
Sarah is acutely aware of the lasting impact such cases can have on a family. She is mindful of the need for thorough and competent representation in these sensitive matters and endeavors to work with clients to bring practical solutions to difficult circumstances. With that said, Sarah will not shy away from the courtroom to passionately defend her clients’ interests.
